This Is My Vibe: 32 Years of Messy, Beautiful, Real Life

Sharing is Caring!💕⤸

This is my story at 32. Life hasn’t been a straight road (at least for me). It’s been full of detours, breakdowns, and unexpected turns that somehow led me here.

I’m a mom of two, still figuring things out one day at a time. And while social media often makes it seem like everyone has it all together, yeah yeah! I don’t. Haha! But that’s okay. Because real life isn’t perfect. I don’t think I’d want it to be. Too perfect would be kinda boring anyway, right? The mess, the laughter, the in-between moments… that’s where the real beauty is :’)

Because here’s the truth… growth doesn’t come from perfect days. It comes from the messy ones.

Pandemic Changed Everything (2020)

Like many, the pandemic completely changed my life. Before that, I was just your regular 8-to-5 employee, safe, predictable, comfortable. Then the world shut down… and suddenly, everything felt uncertain. Going to work got harder (imagine: no work, no pay… and if you do work, there’s no jeepney hahaha), and I started thinking, “Oh Wait wait wait!, is this really the life I want?”

To make the story short, I made a choice. I left my company and took a leap. I tried my luck, hoping to find something I could earn from. No backup plan, no experience, just a strong determination to provide for my family. That’s when I discovered the world of Freelancing.

It was super overwhelming at first. I had to learn everything. Photoshop, Illustrator, spreadsheets, formulas, macros, etc. etc. You name it, I probably tried it lol.

I still remember this one interview. The client goes, “There are so many VAs out there pretending they know what they’re doing, but they actually don’t.” And I’m sitting there like, “Uhhh yeah…” while my brain’s yelling, “Oh no, that’s literally me!” hahaha :’D

But I didn’t give up. I just kept learning and trying until one day, boom! I landed my first data entry job. Three days in and I made over 200+ USD. Like, what?! Three days! And it wasn’t even full-time haha 😀

After that, I started doing all sorts of stuff; formatting documents, setting up courses in Systeme.io, and a bunch more. Every task taught me something new, and honestly, it felt so good to finally see my hard work turning into something real.

Then I met my long time client, and I owe her so much. She’s the one who taught me how to do social media management(Pinteresting) and she still shares tips and ideas with me to this day.

Not long after, I got to work with these two fabulous ladies from my dream land, New Zealand. They’re some of the kindest people I’ve ever met… sometimes I still can’t believe clients like them actually exist. They believed in me, trusted my work, and supported me more than they probably realize.

These amazing women inspired me to start blogging… not just to improve my skills, but to share what I’ve learned and hopefully help a few people along the way too.

So can you see it now? Different tasks, new challenges, fresh learnings, it really drives me crazy! Every day feels like an adventure, and I love it!

Of course, it hasn’t all been easy. Every adventure comes with its share of mistakes, and trust me, I’ve had plenty! But each one taught me something valuable.

  • You don’t have to know everything to start. Taking the first step matters more than feeling ready.
  • Every skill can be learned. I once knew nothing about SEO, and now it’s what I do every day.
  • Challenges are growth in disguise. When things feel tough, it means you’re evolving.
  • If you stay inside your box, you’ll never see the beauty outside it. Fear keeps you safe, but it also keeps you small.

The Hardest Job: Mom Life + Work Life

Here’s the part social media doesn’t show. Being a work-from-home mom is not aesthetic Pinterest boards. It’s messy. Like, really messy

There are days I’m typing with one hand while rocking my baby with the other. Days when I cook dinner while replying to client messages. Nights when I don’t sleep because my kids won’t sleep, but deadlines don’t wait.

But somewhere in all that everyday mess, I found something really good. My two kids are growing up right beside me. We’re together every day, and I’m the one raising them. And that? That’s what makes me the happiest.

Every sleepless night, every tear, every stretch of patience, it’s all for my kids’ future. And even if it doesn’t look perfect, it’s real.

Why I Started This Blog

I didn’t start this blog to show off or anything. I’m still figuring stuff out too. I just wanted to write because I know what it’s like to feel stuck and tired, and I wanna share because honestly, I feel that way sometimes too.

This blog is my way of saying: You’re not alone!

It’s not all pretty or perfect. It’s just real stuff, the stories, the struggles, and those tiny wins that actually count. Some days are good, some days aren’t. That’s just how it is.

So next time you think you’re not “doing enough,” remember:
you’re building a life, not chasing a finish line.

Lessons I Hold On To

  • Change isn’t the end, it’s the start of something new.
  • You don’t have to be perfect, just present.
  • Progress beats perfection, always.
  • Sleepless nights are temporary, but the growth lasts forever.
  • You’re never too old, too late, or too new to begin again.

Looking Ahead

I don’t have it all figured out. I’m learning, growing, and trying to build a life that actually feels good, even if it’s kinda messy and all over the place sometimes.

This is my real life. My own version. And honestly, I wouldn’t swap it for anyone’s “perfect” feed.

So yeah, here’s my vibe at 32. Messy, beautiful, exhausting, and inspiring all at once haha. And if you’re reading this thinking your story’s too small or too unfinished, it’s really not.

I’m not chasing some fancy version of success right now. I’m just showing up, doing what I love, learning as I go, and choosing what makes me happy. That’s enough for me.

Your vibe’s worth sharing. Your story’s worth living. And your messy, beautiful, real life is totally enough.

If you’ve been through something similar, drop it in the comments. I’d love to hear what your messy, beautiful real life looks like. Maybe your story’s the one someone needs today.
